He had to see Anne again after their last encounter, but it had been a tricky deal for Eric to get hold of a working time travel device, even if he happened to know the best places to try - Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four or Hank McCoy of the X-Men. There was also Doctor Doom of course but that was probably asking for trouble, and since trying magic time travel with Doctor Strange or Scarlet Witch would likely back fire, tech was the best option.

Thankfully since Eric had a check up of the Ant Man armour to go through at the Baxter Building Eric did manage to swipe a working time pad. Of course he also needed to make sure he knew how to set it up since he certainly didn't want to end up being chased by dinosaurs or avoiding evil killer future robots. It took a few days of reading the copy of Reed's notes but eventually he figured how to set it to the right date in 1524 and the location to England, specifically Anne's location. And he made sure to arrive a little distance away and in his Ant Man armour since he was pretty certain Anne's father, brother and sister wouldn't take kindly to a strange red haired man with a weird accent asking to see their relative. Having gleamed the specific date Anne had come from on their last encounter he'd set the date to arrive around three to five days after, hoping she would still be present.

The area he arrived in was somewhat wooded so it was a simple task of putting the time machine in his armour pocket holder and shrinking in height to a fraction of an inch. Once then he took to the air, hovering over to the house to locate Anne and her family. When Anne was alone - ideally in her chambers - he could try to contact her and hope she still remembered him like he had her.

When Anne returned to her time she was happy to discover that she remembered her red-headed Lancelot. It was bittersweet, as she figured it was unlikely that she'd ever see him again.

Back to business as usual.

Anne served her father and tried to seduce the king but it was clear that her heart was in it even less than before. Each time Henry touched her it just felt so wrong. He wasn't gentle, nor did it feel good when he passionately took her in his arms.

She spent more time at her family's castle at Hever. Which was where she currently was. Fresh from a bath, Anne sent her maids off and slipped out of her bathing gown and started to reach for her evening gown. Her hair was damp and pulled into a loose braid that rested down her chest.

It had been a tad bittersweet to Eric too since he'd not only doubted seeing her again with getting a time travel device, but knowing her eventual fate was something of a downer, to put it mildly. Of course that was a good decade or so from the time he'd met her, so plenty of chance to... he'd hesitated on thinking changing history, Reed, Pym and Hank would probably blow him up if he screwed up time. But the thought to save her was there.

At ant size it was a simple task of navigating the castle and avoiding detection until he located Anne's rooms. One handy thing about living in the future when Hever still stood today was knowing where things were situated. He zipped past a number of exiting maids and into the bedroom, halting at the sight of the giant sized and presently naked Anne as she reached for her gown. Flying a little closer he activated the comms he could use to speak to her alone, able to tune directly to her ears only, handy when trying to keep your presence unknown.

Of course he couldn't resist a amused opening line. "Have I come at a bad time?"

Anne hadn't expected to hear a voice at all, much less Eric's voice. Startled, Anne screamed in shock and abruptly grabbed her gown to cover herself. She didn't see him right away, and glanced around to find the source.

"Who's there?!" She exclaimed, thinking herself mad for thinking it was Eric's voice.

A maid burst back into the room, having heard Anne scream.

"My lady Anne, are you all right?" The maid glanced about.

"...Yes, yes I'm fine I just thought I heard something and it started me," Anne hesitated, suddenly wondering...did she really hear what she thought she'd heard?

She sent the servant away again, and once the door was shut Anne glanced around the room, blushing and a little sheepish.

"...Eric?"

Eric felt awkward when Anne screamed, he should have probably tried something a little more gentle and subtle, but he figured after a moment she might figure out how she could hear but not see him. He let the maid head back out before he hovered over to her again, sympathy in his tone.

"Yeah it's me. Sorry I scared you, really wasn't my intention. If you haven't realised it already I'm shrunk. Hold out your palm and I'm land on it so you can see me better, ok?"

"Well that certainly explains why I can hear but can't see you," Anne sighed in relief.

One hand released the gown and she held her palm out for him.

"So this is your super power in action?" She smiled as she waited to see him.

"Wouldn't exactly be a good Ant Man if people could see me. I'm able to use a..." He realised the concept of a radio signal would be a little alien to her, even if she was very smart. "...well basically imagine if I could make sound travel better so that despite being so tiny you could hear me as if I was your size. And I can limit it to a specific person to hear, in this case, you."

He gawped a little at her being naked again but managed to land on her warm palm without being too distracted, even if her body at this scale was pretty incredible. "Yes it is, what do you think?"

Anne was surprised when he appeared on her palm. With a smile she sat down on her bed, keeping her palm aloft for him.

"My goodness, you're small indeed!" She was amazed. "You have so many useful skills - yet you use them to creep into a lady's room while she's dressing."

Anne pouted her lips and jokingly wagged a finger of her other hand at him. "Naughty."

Eric sat down himself on her palm, enjoying the chance to talk and be together this way.

"Ant sized is a pretty small scale, though I've been smaller before. And to be fair I didn't know when I entered you'd be naked." He said with an amused tone. "Still, I hope you wouldn't think less of me if I said it wouldn't have been the first time. I suppose if one does have the skills to..."

Anne chuckled, keeping her smile bright and happy - she was downright overjoyed to see him.

"I should take it as a compliment I suppose, that you find me attractive enough to spy on," Anne giggled.

Her eyes lit up when she looked at him a bit longer. "I'm glad you're here...I'm happy to see you."

There was that lovely smile again, much bigger now of course. And he could tell she was pleased to see him, which made the effort of getting a time machine and coming here worth it.

"Naturally, plus I found I enjoy spending time with you, Anne. And I'm happy to see you too. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get here. How long is it since we met last for you? It took me about two weeks from my perspective."

Feeling a little daring and impulsive, Eric momentary hovered up slightly to her lips and pressed his whole tiny body against them for a decidedly unique sort of kiss.

"Mm...that sounds about right...a week perhaps?"

Anne was surprised but not displeased by the unique kiss. She pulled back after a minute and brought her fingers up to her lips.

"I enjoy seeing this ability of yours, and seeing you here - but you might bring yourself up to regular size. This damsel would like to kiss you properly."

He was happy that she seemed to enjoy the experience, and it was certainly interesting from his perspective. Still, he couldn't blame her for wanting to see him properly. Or kiss him.

"I'm glad you do, maybe later on I'll show you some other perks to being this scale you'd enjoy. But sure thing, just as long as you're sure I'm not likely to get caught or anything."

With a press of the visor's display to activate Pym Particles, Eric hopped onto her bed as he reverted to full size, showing a bright red insectoid shaped armour before he slipped off his helmet with a smile. "Hello again."

Anne was surprised at the sight of his suit full-sized. But when he was sitting beside her, Anne smiled. She leaned forward, pushing her fingers through his red hair as she kissed him.

"Mm...I missed you," She whispered as her hands trailed down his chest. "This uniform becomes you - shows off your muscles, I like it."

He put his arms around her once she started to kiss him, enjoying the feel of her fingers trailing through his hair. He was in any chance she had found his ant man armour attractive.

"I used to think it looked kind of dorky... silly, I mean. But I've grown to like it, and I'm glad you do too. I have to say your lack of uniform shows off... well everything. And that I like."

At first she tilted her head at him, confused by his statement. But then she glanced down and remembered - she was naked! Anne gasped and reached for her night gown to cover herself, her face bright red.

"S-sorry I...it slipped my mind, I had just finished a bath, you see..."

Eric had to chuckle at her sudden realisation but to be fair gave a sympathetic nod in response.

"It's ok, I wasn't complaining. If you want to change though that's fine, wouldn't want you to get cold. Do you want me to turn around or...?"

It was silly - he'd seen her naked before! Yet she was so flustered...Anne nodded slowly.

"If you would please, just for a moment," she slipped out of his arms and waited to pull the gown over her head so that she was decent. It wasn't the most attractive gown, just a plain white linen garment, so she stood and retrieved her red evening cloak, which was sleeveless and cinched at the waist. "All right, I'm decent now."

He'd taken her off guard a little so it was understandable, plus last time he'd been naked too. As requested he shifted away from her so she could change until she said he could look again.

It might not be her most attractive attire, but he still considered her beautiful, and he could still imagine her sexy curves beneath just fine. "So you are. Still pretty though. I don't suppose you get that many surprise guests in your bedroom though."

He diffused her embarrassment immediately. Anne smiled and nodded.

"You're right, I don't - actually I don't think a man other than my father or brother has been in here," Anne reached out again to brush her fingers over his muscles. She was amazed herself at how enamored she was with his uniform.

Eric was happy to see her lose her embarrassment after a couple of moments, and he patted her bed for her to sit beside him, putting his helmet down under it.

"Really, then I feel very honoured. And I'm glad you find my armour attractive." His hand went up to her face to brush back some of her strands of hair.

Anne was only too happy to sit next to him. She even leaned into him a bit.

"Really, I'm glad you came, was it terribly difficult to find a device to travel to my time?"

Though Eric was a little nervous about being caught by a more unruly type and getting himself - or worse Anne - in trouble, it was nice being with her like this. He accepted her leaning against him slightly with a smile.

"It was a tad difficult, I had to... borrow it from a guy I know who has one."

She nodded, reaching for his hand to lace her fingers with his. The idea that 'borrowed' could mean anything other than actually borrowed doesn't occur to her.

"If it was borrowed, does that mean that you can only stay a short time?"

Eric clearly would have preferred not to have to swipe the time machine off the Fantastic Four, but he'd doubted that Reed and company would approve of him using time travel to date a historical figure, regardless of whether it might affect time.

"I'm not sure right now. But I'll certainly stay until morning if you would like that. Have to figure out the best place to hide in case your family think you're not alone and I can't shrink, though."

Anne gave his hand a slight squeeze. She glanced up with her dark eyes to meet his gaze.

"I would like it, yes - but I would not ask it of you if you yourself did not desire it. As I said, I've missed you, and if you are unsure how long you can stay, I would like as much time with you as I can get."

She paused though, thinking of hiding places.

"Hmmm...my wardrobe is probably the only real hiding place in here. Without your powers I don't think you'll fit under the bed."
